Have you tried Dylusions Spray inks yet? If not you MUST! The Dylusions line hails from the lovely and talented Dyan Reaveley...a signature designer for my favorite crafty company Ranger Ink! With Dylusions spray inks you can easily add vibrant color to porous surfaces. There are also lots of fun stamps and stencils available in the Dylusions line that when coupled with the spray inks are purely magical!
Once again I’ve scoured the inter-webs for creative projects using Dylusions spray inks, stamps and stencils. After seeing these amazing projects you will definitely want to get your hands on the whole set (if you haven’t already).
When I first got my Dylusions spray inks I used them to create colorful backgrounds on the pages of my Octopode Factory Storybook…
Once I had filled my storybook to the brim with Dylusions I wondered what else I could make “Dylusional” with these magical sprays? In the end every porous surface in my studio became a candidate, starting with this bunch of dried Hydrangeas…
Next, I thought to myself “Why not MAKE some flowers with Dylusions?” So I did…
I had a bunch of plain white tissue paper lying around that was far too boring for the gift I wanted to wrap. I found I could easily solve this problem by customizing said tissue with Dylusions!
Most recently I used Dylusions to dye some fabric to complete a “Chompy” for my son’s Skylanders Birthday party.

One of my favorite Dylusions projects discovered in my search is this Funky Rainbow phone by Kaz of The Little Shabby Shed. This project will have rainbow lovers everywhere “Calling” for a glimpse at this masterpiece. I would gladly trade my iPhone for this colorful rotary dial (I bet you could call Rainbow Brite on it) Stop by The Little Shabby Shed to see how Kaz created this fabulous up-cycle!
How cool is this? Ellen Vargo’s AMAZING Dylusion’s Printers Tray ! I love how she has created so many scenes within the blocks of the printers tray.
