I’m all for the “No Wrap” Shower.  I love a pretty package as much as the next girl but man can those things run loooong with all that unwrapping am I right?  Now you can have your “wedding cake” and eat it too by making a no wrap gift just as pretty with a cute gift tag!

Bridal Shower Recipe Card Gift Tag

It won’t take much to create this memorable Recipe Card Gift Tag!  You too can share your favorite recipe with the bride-to-be and pretty up a shower gift with just a few simple steps!

Supplies:

STEP 1:  Cut Candy Jar from Mat Board or Chip Board.  *While you are at it make a second cut with a large index card to write your recipe on.

STEP 2: Starting with the lightest color first (Tumbled Glass) swirl in Distress Ink using a blending tool.

*TIP*  Leave some white space off center to enhance the faux glass effect.

It’s actually very complicated in this busy life to listen news on Television, thus I just use the web
for that reason, and get the latest news. latahza

I’m really loving the theme/design of your
web site. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems?
A few of my blog readers have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer
but looks great in Firefox. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?

These are sooo adorable, Amy! I love the idea of fun shaped recipe cards and gift tags, all in one. The candy jar shape is super fun, and I love the faux glass technique you created for it. The stenciled design over the top adds the perfect touch!

I love the frosted glass technique! Thanks for sharing that. I do wish I could know the rest of the recipe! I saw the arrow at the bottom so I don’t know if there is anything more that is very important or not. But, that sounds really good and something I think my son would enjoy. Also, I’m glad to see you back – have missed your regular blog posts.

I love the idea of a ‘no wrap’ shower’ and your pretty tag is so cute to dress up a present instead of a ton of paper that would be headed for a landfill.
She can hang this sweet little treasure up in her new kitchen or use it as a bookmark in a fav cook book (do people still use a cookbook?)
Thank for sharing this sweet idea. :)

Hadn’t heard of a “no-wrap” shower but it is a good idea. A little tag and maybe some ribbon and the package is pretty – even without all of the wrapping paper.
