Pastel Paper Flowers — Plucking Daisies Find us on Google+

Pastel Paper Flowers

by Amy Bowerman

Well folks they don’t call me Plucking Daisies for nothing :)   Today I have another Paper flower arrangement to share based on this GORGEOUS trigger photo from Cath at Moxie Fab.  (For some reason the trigger photo will not show up so please click here and prepare for a feast for your eyes)

These trigger photos really get my flower making mojo going.  Here’s what I came up with…

Pastel Paper Flowers

I had a stack of Heidi Grace card stock in my stash with a similar color scheme to that of the trigger photo.  Pinks, blues and yellows are one of my favorite color combos.  I love the pops of brown in some of the patterned papers.

Itty Bitty Bugs

I had these novelty bug buttons which seemed to match perfectly with the Heidi Grace card stock.  Not only that but their sparkly hues of silver and gold fit right in with the gold and glamour of the drool worthy bracelet in the trigger photo.  Aren’t these itty bitty buggies cute?

Bee’s and Butterflies are a Flowers best friend

Diamonds may be a girls best friend but bees and butterflies are a flowers best friend!  It doesn’t get any cuter than a bee button on a paper flower.  These are the only types of bees I like…the button kind :)  Of course I used regular buttons too and had a blast finding just the right ones to complement the color scheme.  I’ll pretty much use any excuse I can to dig through my button collection…can you tell?

Baby Butterfly

Last but not least I have Mr. Blue Butterfly to share with you.  I snagged him at Michael’s a long time ago.  Sadly he has been stuck in a drawer waiting for the right moment to spread his wings.  The time is now my blue and yellow friend!!  I gave him some beads and baubles of his own and set him free with his sparkling friends in a pastel paper wonderland!  He looks quite happy if I do say so myself :)

Hope your day is blossoming!

PS  Check back with me tomorrow to see my newest paper flower designs based on a holiday favorite
