Lego Card

by Amy Bowerman

I happened upon the Waltzing Mouse sketch challenge this afternoon.  I had been trying to come up with a masculine card idea.  Our computer guy refurbishes computers and was kind enough to give an oldie but goodie to my 5 year old son.  Jack is a budding Lego artist and frequents Youtube tutorials to gain inspiration for his creations.  This weeks sketch challenge gave me the perfect idea to incorporate his love of Legos into a Thank you card.

Waltzing Mouse Sketch challenge #78

Lego Card

Lego Card

I was able to use some treasures found while organizing my craft room yesterday.  I punched the circles and  used black soot distress ink on one side and used a versamark pen and white embossing powder on the other.  The bubble letter stickers were found in the depths of my sticker bin.  I used mounting squares to add depth.  The Lego paper was found on my last trip in the abyss of my craft room as well.  I had planned on using it to scrapbook Jack’s creations but I couldn’t resist using it for the challenge.
