Can I just tell you guys how AMAZING the SNAP! Conference was? What a great experience! I learned so much and met so many fabulous creative ladies. All of the sessions were great but my favorite one by far was “Instahance your online presence with Instagram.” Three lovely ladies (and power Instagram users) Rhonna Farrer of Rhonna Designs, Shelley Smith of House of Smiths and Susan of Freshly Picked shared their favorite Instagram apps, tips, tricks and a few secrets to a packed house!
I haven’t even begun to process all that I learned about Instagram that day and know I have a lot more learning to do. It’s only been a few days and my Instagram photos are better than ever thanks to Rhonna, Shelley, Susan and a few Must Have Instagram apps!
I’ve followed Rhonna Farrer since I signed up for Instagram. I’ve always been amazed by her photos and wonder “How’d she do that?” What a treat to meet her in person and learn from the master of Instagram herself! You can follow Rhonna on Instagram @Rhonnafarrer to see for yourself (She has a photo of her tip card with all her favorite apps…this is a MUST see!).
Rhonna also has an online workshop that I’m going to be taking. Now that I’ve gotten a taste of how much better Instagram can be with the right apps I want to know more! I also want to be #InstaAwesome and Rhonna seems to have that down to a science Check out this post from Rhonna where she shares her top 10 Favorite Instagram Apps!
Rhonna also has fonts available that will take your photos from so-so to WHOA! If a picture is worth a thousand words, it’s worth about Eleventy-billion dollars with these rockin’ fonts! Here’s a helpful video from Rhonna that shows how to upload them into your favorite apps!
Must Have Instagram Apps
I’m only just beginning to learn the wonders of Instagram paired with the right apps. I took this less than stellar photo of the Utah skyline tweaked it in Snapseed, then Vintique and added text with Bubble Frame.
Just look at the difference made by running your photos through different apps!
This photo of me and Eileen Hull was rather blurry and blah in the beginning. After a run through Snapseed and Vintique us girls are looking Rainbow Fabulous!
InstaFonts is another great App for adding text and labels to your photos. (From Left Jen from JGoode Designs, Johnnie from Saved by Love Creations and yours truly!)
This photo was taken on the way back home in the middle of the SLC airport food court. You’d never know it thanks to Snapseed, Vintique and InstaFonts.
Creative Blogger business cards? Don’t mind if I do! If you thought these lovely cards couldn’t get any cuter…they can with Instagram enhancing apps! (Snapseed, Vintique, InstaFonts)
Need a quick graphic like the one I made for this post? Try SymbolGram, Bubble Frame and Vintique combined with one of your favorite sketches!
I’m still figuring this one out but Diptic is THE collage app to have! There’s a LOT more you can do with this app…I’ll get there. When I do you guys will be the first to know!
Wondering where to print your Instagram photos? Shelley from House of Smiths has a great post to answer all your burning questions about printing Instagram Photos.
While were on the subject of getting creative with Instagram, check out this amazing Instagram project roundup over at Saved By Love Creations!
Do you have a favorite Instagram App you love to use to enhance your photos and bring out your inner Ansel Adams? Do tell!

When enterprises are global, quality, integration and efficient storage solutions are
necessary for organizations success. Managing regulatory compliance needs that governs IT security also forms a significant part of IT security.
And it is where the treasure is hidden – seeing the modification inside the lives of men and women you’ve helped.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform
you’re working with? I’m planning tto start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is becauae your design and style seems different then most blogs
and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic
but I had to ask!

I know exactly what you mean Paula! I had quite a few of those apps on my phone already but had no idea how to use them until Rhonna showed them in step by step format in the Instagram class. One of the biggest mistakes I found I was making was taking pictures with the Instagram camera…don’t do it! Camera Plus is another great app for taking photos…I’m still figuring it out but one thing is for sure I won’t be taking any more pics with the Instagram camera
