Artist Trading Blocks on the #PaperTrail

by Amy Bowerman

Hey everyone!  I have lots of exciting things to share with you today.  A week from today Eileen Hull and myself will be heading out on the #PaperTrail!  We will be making lots of stops along the way for classes, demos, and store visits.  We’re picking up some creative along the way to help us spread the Sizzix Artist Trading Block love!

Next Thursday we will be making our way up to The Collins Group Show in Framingham, Massachusetts.  This will be the maiden voyage of Eileen’s Vintage Camper and the #PaperTrail Tour kick off!  Eileen has the camper all decked out and ready to go!  If you fancy a peek inside “Scotty” you can see what she has been up to with trailer renovations HERE.  You can also read more about the #PaperTrail and a Q&A with Eileen Hull HERE.

We will be teaching a workshop March 28, 2014 on how to create this “springy” Artist Trading block using Sizzix dies from Eileen Hull and Where Women Cook at The Collins Group Show.  If you will be attending the show you can find out more and sign up HERE.

Our first stop before heading up to The Collin’s show is near and dear to my heart.  Eileen will be picking me up here in Connecticut and we will be heading up to the Great American Stamp store for a Demo and Make and take of Eileen’s latest Sizzix Collection Cherished!  We will also have a special guest Artist stopping by.  The amazing Marjie Kemper!

#PaperTrail is Heading to The Great American Stamp Store!

I purchased my first stamps and embossing powders from The Great American Stamp Store when I was 12.  You bet your bottom dollar I still have them!  I may be dating myself but they stopped making licensed character stamps 20 years ago…so there’s that :)  This was my first forray into paper crafting…I spent every cent of my 12th birthday money on this now vintage lot…a worthwhile investment indeed! (who doesn’t want a Pebbles and Bam Bam stamp set?)

Once we finish up at the Great American Stamp Store we will be making one more stop in Connecticut to pick up Anita Houston The Artful Maven!  Anita will be riding the #PaperTrail with us up to the Collin’s Show and back…what fun!  Three Crafty girls and a camper?  Who knows what will happen…lots of creative fun I’m sure!

Mad About Metal Artist Trading Blocks | Pluckingdaisies.com On Saturday we head to Absolutely Everything to teach an Artist Trading Block class.   You can find  more information about the class and how to sign up HERE.  We will be heading back to the Collins show after class for more demos and creative fun in the trailer…who knows who will join us for some crafty Glamping :)  You will have to follow the #PaperTrail hashtag to find out!

Speaking of Following, you can easily keep up with Eileen and I and our adventures by “following” us on Social Media.

That sounds so fun Amy. I know that you are going to be bursting with ideas to share with us when you’re done – I can hardly wait to see. I am really intrigued by the Mad about Metal ATB’s – I do hope you show us some that you come up with.
